After 3 years of building Prosperity Candle, we have launched Prosperity Catalyst. The time is right for our nonprofit side – focused on incubating prosperity with training, support, and inspiration to women entrepreneurs – to grow.
Today, under Executive Director Siiri Morley’s leadership, Prosperity Catalyst is raising funds to grow our work into Haiti.
We have received grants from the State Department and UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) but we still have a funding gap to make our work a success next year.
Donations to Prosperity Catalyst will help train women in work readiness and candle-making, to rent a space, to invest in candle equipment, to build partnerships, and, most importantly, to build a team with the skills and passion to make this all happen.
To reach Prosperity Catalyst’s goals, generous donors have offered to match each dollar raised up to $30,000 before the end of the year. If you’re looking to help women through donations as 2012 winds down, here’s a chance to make every dollar go twice as far.
